Aravinda is the founder and CEO of KAL. KAL's Kalignite software is the world's leading software suite for ATMs and kiosks. Thousands of ATMs and kiosks powered by Kalignite are installed around the world. Aravinda is a world authority on software technology for ATMs. Aravinda was born in Sri Lanka. Following a degree in Electronics at King's College London and a PhD in Computer Vision at Edinburgh University, Aravinda worked with PA Technology and Coopers and Lybrand before founding KAL in 1989. |
| Justin Li, Founder and Board Director, ATMU
Mr. Li has extensive expeirence in China’s banking industry. Over the past 9 years he has developed a strategy in relation to the ATM market in China. | Huang Ping, Deputy Director, Payment System Department, People’s Bank of China
Ms Huang Ping holds a Ph.D. degree in Economics from the Renmin University of China. She is the Deputy Director of the Payment System Department at the People's Bank of China (PBOC) and is responsible for bank card business management policy. Through her work, Ms Ping has developed a thorough understanding of ATM management, the card acquiring market and risk control. |
| Sisi Wang, Research Analyst, Retail Banking Research
Sisi Wang is a Research Analyst with a particular focus on the Chinese retail banking market. She conducts detailed primary and secondary research for RBR’s established studies and a new series of China-focused reports. As part of her research role, Sisi has attended and spoken at a number of events in China. Sisi joined RBR in March 2008 and holds a BA degree in Sociology from Fudan University and an MSc in Management Studies from University College London. |
| Dr ZaiPing Yang, Executive Vice President, China Banking Association
Dr ZaiPing Yang is the Executive Vice President of the China Banking Association. In addition to this role, Dr Yang also holds the position of Inspector of Supervisory Rules & Regulations for the China Banking Regulatory Commission (CBRC), as well as being the Deputy Secretary of the China Society for Finance and Banking. He is also a member of Beijing Xicheng District People’s Council.
Dr Yang previously worked as the Deputy Director of the CBRC Research Bureau, as well as working at the People’s Bank of China, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Council.
Dr Yang is an Associate Professor at Wuhan University and the People’s University of China, as well as a visiting scholar in Canada. Dr Yang’s has published over one hundred articles and eight books, including “Analysis of Government Behaviour in Chinese Economy”, “Essay on the Market”, “China: Looking at the Euro within a Global Perspective” and “View on Efficiency and Performance: Insight of Frontier Issues in China’s Finance”. |
