Jeff Glassie, Partner, Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP
Mr. Glassie, a partner in Pillsbury's nonprofit organizations group, represents associations and nonprofit organizations on a wide range of legal matters, including antitrust, tax, certification, accreditation, contracts, employment, merger, intellectual property and corporate issues. Mr. Glassie has concentrated in the field of nonprofit membership organizations for over 30 years. He has significant experience in international legal issues and is the author of International Legal Issues for Nonprofit Organizations, published by the American Society for Association Executives (ASAE). He is also co-author with Jerry Jacobs of Certification and Accreditation Law Handbook, 2nd edition. Mr. Glassie is the former Chair of the Legal Section Council of ASAE and the Annual Legal Symposium; former Chairman of the Law and Legislative Committee of the Greater Washington Society of Association Executives; and former member of the ASAE International Section Council. He also served as an instructor for the ASAE on-line electronic course on legal issues for associations and as faculty for the ASAE Virtual Law School. He was a member of the Personnel Certification Accreditation Committee of the American National Standard Institute. Mr. Glassie was also Chair of the firm's Well-Being Committee.

Daveed Schwartz, Of Counsel, Bullivant Houser Bailey PC
Mr. Schwartz is Of Counsel in the San Francisco and Sacramento offices of the law firm of Bullivant Houser Bailey PC.  He specializes in electronic payments law and has defended over a dozen gift card and payments law class actions in California, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.  Daveed is formerly the chief antitrust and consumer protection enforcer for the Alaska Attorney General’s Office.  A more detailed professional biography for Daveed is located at the web address on the second slide of today’s presentation.
